Our adoption of our dog Daisy has been the best thing ever. We described what we wanted and they set us up a meet and greet with Daisy. She’s so sweet and now so spoiled. She fit into our family perfectly. I highly recommend using Moffitt rescue for any new pet you’re interested in. They are great with the animals and are there if you need anything even after the adoptions.

Moffitt Animal Shelter helped me find my new best friend! We had been searching for the right dog to bring into our home for well over a year. Realizing that out 16yo dog won’t be around forever and our 3yo dog will be devastated without her it was time to find another to bring into the family. After speaking with Miranda and Rhiannon from Moffitt we were able to find the right fit for our family AND also address some personality issues our 3yo has with the training recommendations they provided. 3 months into our 3 pup household and everyone is happy and thriving. Without the support from the staff at Moffitt I don’t think this transition would have been so smooth.

Moffitt Animal Shelter offers temporary sanctuary for unwanted, lost, and neglected animals. We are here to promote humane care and treatment of household pets and population control through spay and neuter.
How can I adopt a pet from Moffitt Animal Shelter?
To adopt a pet please fill out an application and we’ll get in touch!
What programs are offered?
Moffitt Animal Shelter currently only provides spay and neuter for shelter animals before adoption. For community and feral cats, there is a TNR program for when funding is available.
How can I support Moffitt Animal Shelter?
There are several ways to support us! You can make a donation, volunteer your time, sponsor an adoption or participate in our community events!
What are the adoption fees at Moffitt Animal Shelter?
Currently our fees for dogs are 200$ which include age appropriate vetting and spay/neuter. Our cats at the shelter proper are a monetary donation of your choice.
